This Sunday, November 26, 2023, Michel Drucker hosted a new issue of his show Roll on Sunday on France 3. In this new feature, the famous 81-year-old host received Florent Pagny on his set. An opportunity for the two acolytes to tell a crazy anecdote about their “bound destiny”. “We had the same room at the hospital”, first revealed the companion of Dany Saval before adding: “We have a linked destiny as you could say… We knew each other 35 years ago, even before I sang since I played your role in a TV movie, but it’s true that over time, ultimately , we never gave up and we are still here.”
And to continue: “We were in the same room because where he was supposed to be, it was closed so they told him: ‘There is a room that is free, it’s Drucker’s and he left in good shape’. And he said, ‘That’s the one I want.’ For Florent Pagny, ‘you have to be a little superstitious in life’, and that’s how we find ourselves today.”

“I’ll be back”
As a reminder, Michel Drucker recently faced major health problems. Indeed, the star of France Télévisions underwent two heart operations and fought against an infection. For his part, the interpreter of Know Loved was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022.
A few days ago, the artist in remission announced his withdrawal from the media in order to devote himself to his well-being. “I will come back in 2026 for my 65th birthday tour”,he said via a press release relayed by AFP. “There, I’m going to withdraw from the media, we’ve had a lot of Pagny in 2023, between activities and illness, so I’m going to try to get back into creation.”
