The war has seen the emergence of new weapons, notably kamikaze drones which explode when they hit their target. A team from France Télévisions was able to go alongside a team of Russian drone operators, who included a Frenchman among them.

A year ago, this unit did not exist. It is not a unique case: Russia says it produces drones on a large scale using Russian components.
