Météo-France places eleven departments on orange alert on Tuesday

Finistère, Pas-de-Calais, Seine-Maritime, Manche, Côtes-d’Armor, Ille-et-Vilaine and Somme are particularly affected by a risk of “submersion waves”.

Météo-France place, Monday April 8, five departments, Gironde, Charente-Maritime, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Seine-Maritime and Eure, on orange “flood” alert, from 4 p.m. This vigilance is also required for Tuesday. Finistère, which had been placed on orange “wind” and “submersion waves” alert since 4 p.m., due to the Pierrick depression, has however no longer been so since 10 p.m., according to the weather station.

From Tuesday 6 a.m. until the end of the afternoon, Finistère, Pas-de-Calais, Seine-Maritime, Manche, Côtes-d’Armor, Ille -et-Vilaine and the Somme will be placed on orange “submersion waves” alert.
