The verdict is in. Melvyn Jaminet will not wear the jersey of the XV of France this fall. Hit in the left ankle in the 15th minute of play in Corrèze this Saturday, the back of Stade Toulousain will not be able to join the Blues.
An MRI taken this Sunday
Melvyn Jaminet had an MRI this Sunday in Toulouse and fears have come true: he suffers from the malleolus and ankle ligaments, according to our colleagues from The Team. In the corridors of the Amédée-Domenech stadium on Saturday afternoon, the Toulouse entourage already confirmed to us that the former USAP had felt his ankle crack, under the weight of Axel Muller after a tackle.
The absence of Melvyn Jaminet is estimated at least five weeks. Two other Toulousains, regulars of the Blues, will not be present this fall with the national team. François Cros and Cyril Baille are still in the infirmary.
