Yet that’s what the Canadian goaltender did by singing the American national anthem before the last game of the Buffalo Sabers this season, Friday evening, at the KeyBank Center.
He may not have played in the NHL since Jan. 11, but Subban obviously made his teammates — and opponents — happy in other ways. It is to see them, on their blue lines, trying to hold back their laughter without much success.
