Laurent Ruquier
recently left France Télévisions and not in the best conditions since he assured that he had been “considered unclean“. For his new project called The 20H of Ruquier, the one who spoke out on the Stéphane Plaza affair
will be accompanied by Julie Hammett, also recently recruited by BFM TV.
A graduate of Sciences Po Lille and ESJ Lille, the journalist started out as a reporter and correspondent for TF1. A post that had an impact on his private life. “I had a series of small contracts. I spent my life traveling to hotels to do replacements. It was exciting and educational but it had too much of an impact on my personal life”, confided the new accomplice of Laurent Ruquier.
But all that is behind her now since she has now been sharing the life of a Marseille lawyer for two years.

In addition to the 8 p.m. from Ruquier, Julie Hammett is at the head of Ligne Rouge on Monday evenings and 60 minutes from Tuesday to Thursday where she replaces Aurélie Casse. A few hours before the launch of the show Laurent Ruquier,
the co-presenter is not in the title. The person concerned revealed that her absence is quite simply linked to the fact that Marc-Olivier Fogiel, boss of BFM TVchose the name. “He thought it was the best seller. If it had been his only show, that would have been a problem. But Julie will have her own slot, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.,” clarified Laurent Ruquier
to our colleagues.
But it’s just a detail that doesn’t bother Julie Hammett since she achieved one of her goals: “My dream was to host talk shows around current events. I also have this chance to make it happen with a great professional whose shows I loved.” All that remains is to discover the duo in action.
