More than ten years after revealing that she suffered from endometriosis, Laetitia Milot continues her fight, for herself as for other women who have to endure this disease. She who managed to have a baby despite the obstacles, her little Lyana, born on May 14, 2018, who has grown up well, still has regular seizures. In a documentary which will be broadcast on TFX, this March 23, 2024, the former actress of Plus belle la vie, admires the path traveled.

In a trailer shared this March 21, 2024 on X, she admires a speech by President Emmanuel Macron who explains: “One in ten women are affected in their chair, in their daily life, in their femininity, in their desire for motherhood by endometriosis. This debilitating, painful disease, the leading cause of female infertility. It is not a problem of women, it’s a social problem.”

And Laetitia Milot comments: “It’s crazy, who would have thought that one day, a President of the Republic would make endometriosis a public health issue”. Following the presidential address, the Head of State announced: “It was time to act to facilitate access to care. It was time to invest so that researchers could explore the causes of the disease and discover suitable treatments.”

“We fought for years and years, we the victims”

And Laetitia Milot rejoices: “We fought for years and years, we the victims, to have the disease recognized, already, even if only to have the disease recognized. We have freed ourselves to speak, and I still can’t do that. to believe it. Really, it’s a huge step forward. People, in fact, who have endometriosis are finally being taken seriously.”
