The DD Brigitte Rouleau has breast cancer. After difficult treatments, she was declared cured. Her doctors did not warn her, but she must fight a second battle against the side effects of her treatments, which persist for years. She does it alone, without help from the medical system, which is only just beginning to become aware of patients’ post-treatment needs.
