Is the winter time song always sad?

Variety artists took a few years to sing about winter time and summer time, after their introduction in 1976. And they draw certain tasty paradoxes from it.

I must admit that even I was surprised. It’s a bit counterintuitive to associate swing and standard time. However, this song by Ben Ricour, in 2007, promises energy, optimism, even a rebirth, with the arrival of winter time.

Let’s take it as a promise before the time change tonight – a time change which we know has economic – and even ecological – justifications – and whose sustainability we no longer even try to defend, since It seems that there is no real talk of removing it anymore.

Moreover, the oldest among us remember the creativity displayed at the beginning. Listen to what was said on the airwaves of our friends at France Inter, the weekend of the switch to winter time the first year, in 1976.
