In addition to having adopted the vaccination pass, the German government imposes a negative test, even on fully vaccinated people.
To take no risk while enjoying the show, a circus in Berlin (Germany) has all the obligations: to enter, adults must be fully vaccinated and all spectators, including children, must show a negative test carried out on same day. A center is installed just in front of the marquee. LResults are available in fifteen minutes, with a daily positivity rate of around 2% to 3%. In Germany, all tests are free.
The rule seems to reassure
The “vaccination plus test” rule is already compulsory in restaurants and ski resorts, as in Bavaria. In other regions, it is the institutions that choose whether or not to impose it. For the director of the Berlin theater Friedrichstadt-Palast, this constraint does not deter spectators: “We are at 60-70% occupancy. There would be fewer people in the audience without this rule, because people would have less confidence.” The measure being far from being generalized to the whole country, it is difficult to say that it contributes to the sharp drop in new cases, observed for ten days in Germany.
