“I almost got trampled”, a TF1 star falls at the Agricultural Show and broadcasts shocking images

Farmers’ anger is growing again. After a few silent weeks, farmers are present at the agricultural show and want to fight it out. This Saturday, February 24, 2024, numerous slip-ups and excesses were recorded, caused by the arrival of the President of the Republic on the scene. Like every year, Emmanuel Macron like his predecessors are expected at the agricultural show, but the head of state was not really welcome… When his arrival was announced, a real crowd bath caused a general wind of panic, and strong stampedes. Reporter Paul Larrouturou, who worked for
Daily
a few years ago, and who now works on LCI, was on the scene, and almost left his microphone there…and even worse!

Indeed, as he revealed on heavy injuries: “I almost got trampled. But everything is fine. Huge physical tension this morning between the farmers of the rural coordination and the police, partly overwhelmed”he declared. Indeed, the collectives of Rural Coordination and the FNSEA were very present on this Saturday, February 24, and wanted to do battle with the Head of State. The latter, despite the panic and anger, nevertheless insisted on dialogue with the most vehement farmers, such as José Perez and Karine Duc, of CR47.

Promises, and an attack targeting Marine Le Pen

In an extremely tense context, Emmanuel Macron promised new things to farmers, such as a floor price sector by sector, and a case-by-case response from farmers “at the bottom of the abyss” : From Monday, the State will launch a census of financially unstable farms on the verge of bankruptcy, in order to target those which must be given priority support. A dialogue with the banks could be initiated. On the other hand, the Head of State ruled out the hypothesis of a blank year granted to farmers, and reminded them, rightly, that the latter were self-employed and not civil servants of local or state authorities. At the end of the speech with the farmers, Emmanuel Macron tackled Marine Le Pen
asserting that it carried “a project of decline and stupidity”. The interested party replied via X: “Honestly, are there still people who believe this gross lie?”
