According to our information, the victim is Éric Leclerc, nicknamed Béluga. He is a former supporter of Rock Machine, before becoming a relation of the Hells Angels.

As of Tuesday morning, a perimeter was still in place, as was a command post from the Longueuil agglomeration police service (SPAL). A witness will be met in connection with this event, indicated agent Ghyslain Vallières of the SPAL.

In the early 2000s, Leclerc was part of a group of four Rock Machine sympathizers who were the first to be convicted under Quebec’s new gangsterism law.
