A legendary banana, whether on the head or as a smile, and yet a “serious illness” which does not however prevent him from being happy today. Indeed, during his time with Isabelle Morizet on European 1, Chris Marks surprised and evoked a disease which he suffered from a very young age. The judge of “Dance with the stars”who had a heated altercation with Anthony Colette, was diagnosed when he was just 23 years old.
“I contracted this disease and one of the first decisions we made, with my wife, was not to talk about it (…) We decided to keep it to ourselves, because we did not want let the world decide our fate for us”he remembers on European 1before explaining this choice to remain silent: “As long as this information was private, we could still decide our careers.“. But what suffers from the one who judges David Ginola as a person with a “huge boulard”?

Chris Marques sick, but not down
This disease is myalgic encephalomyelitis. This is a chronic condition previously known as chronic fatigue syndrome, as noted by our colleagues at TV 7 Days. “I don’t like to use this terminology, because it gives the impression that it’s just fatigue. It’s far from that.”, he says. Indeed, according to the words of the judge who may have to do without François Alu next season, the pain could “last for weeks”.
“I also had a fever, it could go as far as convulsions. My mental state was not the same. I was unable to think so quickly. My useful hours per day were limited to two, maybe three hours”also entrusts Chris Marks. The most terrible? The fact that no treatment can cure it. Fortunately, he was able to meet a coach, as he describes it, who taught him how to manage his body and to control [son] heartbeat, to stop certain cycles of thought”. Since then, he seems to have succeeded.
