Is the man who invites a woman to the restaurant, who holds the door for her and takes the bill, because he takes it for granted, a terrible reactionary, sexist, and unknowingly multiplying discriminatory behavior? According to the French daily Releasewhich echoed a recently published study on the practices of men and women in restaurants, the answer is yes.
Restaurant
Because behind what ordinary mortals want to see as the expression of gallantry, there would be, the neofeminists tell us, a macho, patriarchal system, placing the man in a position of strength as an all-powerful provider, and condemning the woman in a dominated position.

Paying the bill on the first evening, and, even more, getting into the habit of paying the bill for his lady, would be a way of inferiorizing her, and even, symbolically, of unconsciously forcing her into adult games, by forcing her consent, putting pressure on her.
What can we say in the face of this delirium, except that neo-feminism, and more broadly, neo-progressism, plunges us into a paranoid society that wants to liquidate politeness and good manners in the name of a new egalitarian morality.
Gallantry, which made it possible to civilize and tame the always complex relationships between men and women, must therefore fall for equality between the sexes to occur. They make us a bland and arid world, without poetry, without charm, without passions.
Faced with this delirium, gentlemen, because it is to you that I am speaking here, I propose to you, this evening, to invite your wife to the restaurant.

Delirium
Put on a suit, a tie, choose a good bottle, and take the note without hesitation!
By this claimed practice of gallantry, you will have resisted the surrounding stupidity, in addition to making the guest happy.
And feel free to start over.
And the world will be a little better.
