Ukraine is overwhelmed by the fourth wave of Covid-19, with 23,000 new cases and 800 deaths per day. Many are not vaccinated. The Delta variant is wreaking havoc. In Germany, too, concern is needed. A Berlin vaccination center has been refueling for a few days. People of all ages, but no children, experts are reluctant to give the green light. Two thirds of Germans are vaccinated.
In the United Kingdom, on the sidelines of COP26, fashion designers were honored in Glasgow, Scotland. They want to commit to the environment, with less polluting creations, more respectful of nature and animal welfare. Finally, in Italy, Pope Francis met with Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority. Both said they wanted to re-establish dialogue with the Israeli authorities.
