On a full-axis foot game from Finn Russell, Antoine Dupont raises from his side. The Toulousain finds an interval and gains 50 meters. The break for the French! On a touch at the entrance of the opposing 22 meters, the Blues initiate a combination off. 29th minute: the Scots come back after a streak of shelling

The XV du Chardon is fighting back! After a penalty played by hand by Stuart McInally, the Scots put pressure in the five meters French. The locals multiply the playing time up close, and Ali Price fixes his tricolor vis-à-vis to launch Rory Darge. The flanker wins his duel with Anthony Jelonch and flattens to revive Scotland. Finn Russell converts the try.

40th minute: Gaël Fickou stuns the Scots on the siren

In difficulty at the end of the first period, the Blues give themselves some air. Found in pivot, Romain Ntamack launches Gaël Fickou in the center of the field. The Racingman starts a cross race despite the presence of Anthony Jelonch, gets rid of an opposing tackle and flattens in a corner. The video confirms it: Fickou did not set foot in touch. Melvyn Jaminet transforms and gives the Blues a nine-point lead at the break (19-10).

Gaël Fickou sparkling! Shifted by Romain Ntamack, he goes the full width of the field to score alone. The Blues make an excellent operation just before half-time.
