Valérie Lecasble, political columnist and Catherine Tricot, director of the magazine Regards reacted to the appointment of the new Minister of National Education, Anne Genetet.

Anne Genetet was appointed to the Ministry of National Education on Saturday, September 21, replacing Nicole Belloubet. “Since 2022 and the re-election of Emmanuel Macron, we had Pap Ndaye after Gabriel Attal. Then, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra then Nicole Belloubet. So she is the fifth minister in 2 years. It is absolutely mind-blowing when we know that Pap Ndaye had a policy exactly the opposite of that of his predecessor, Jean-Michel Blanquer and that the others only had a few months to be able to settle in and they left prematurely (…) We have difficulty understanding why Nicole Belloubet left. She absolutely wanted to stay”regrets Valérie Lecasble, political columnist for the daily LeJournal.info.

“I think Nicole Belloubet was exfiltrated, she is a woman who speaks relatively freely. We can’t say that she was a rebel, but she still always held her positions. She obviously regretted having only had four months while she was there to calm down a ministry that was suffering. She still sends some messages on the results over the last seven years with Jean-Michel Blanquer in particular.”explains Catherine Tricot, director of the magazine Regards.
