finds his “soul mate” Philippe Warin, 19 years after they met… here’s why their love was impossible at the time

Freshly divorced from Thierry Peythieu, Ingrid Chauvin was quick to find love again. Since December 2021, the 48-year-old actress has been in a relationship with Philippe Warrin, a 60-year-old photographer. If they live a beautiful love story in 2022, you should know that they had a first mutual crush… 19 years ago during a photo report!

In an interview with Gala magazine, Ingrid Chauvin explained why at the time they had not been able to get together despite their mutual attraction: “As soon as we saw each other, there was this incredible emotion , the feeling of having in front of you the other half of the puzzle that we are all looking for. But at the time, we were not available. It was an impossible love…” she says. Dad of “two young girls” at this time, Philippe Warrin did not want to “reproduce a pattern from which he had suffered in his childhood, the lack of a father who did not recognize him” and had not took the risk of leaving wife and children. The “death in the soul”, each had then continued his life on his side.

If she married Thierry Peythieu in 2011 and had a son named Tom with him, Ingrid Chauvin ended up finding by chance, the one she had met two decades ago and whom she now calls her “soulmate”, during a shooting for Gala in July 2021. “He arrived. And I felt the same upheaval as nineteen years earlier” she explained.

Same feeling for Philippe Warin who confided in his reunion with his beloved: “A year ago, when I saw Ingrid again, I had the impression of having left her the day before”. And to clarify: “Nineteen years ago, […], from the first minute, I had fallen madly in love. I had never felt that. […] Finding her today is unexpected”. More in love than ever, the two lovebirds first learned to discover each other by living together every other week and are now ready to live together. “At the end of August, we will really settle down together in Sète” confessed the actress.
