ex-mistress of a married man… And lover of a “notorious homosexual”

This Saturday, May 28, 2022, TF1 Film Series offers its viewers two episodes of Josephine, Guardian Angel. The saga brilliantly carried by Mimie Mathy has long been the heyday of the first channel. Over the years, the artist has become one of the emblematic faces of the small screen. Just like his career, his private life fascinates his admirers just as much.

In the city, the main interested party spins the perfect love with Benoist Gérard met in 2003 during his one-woman show “I chat with you”. The latter was a mere spectator… Coming as usual, the star invited him on stage and it was love at first sight! Two years later, they unite for better and for worse. Since then, everything has been going well for them. But before him, Mimie Mathy chained the heartaches.

“I was convinced that I was going to change it…”

In 2017 on the set of Can’t wait for Sunday on France 2, the actress agreed to open up about it. “I always took on complicated situations. That is to say when you throw yourself into the arms of a notorious homosexual”, revealed Mimie Mathy. “I was convinced that I was going to change it”. His quest for “Princes Charming Not Always Charming” has always been simple… Quite the contrary.

In the past, the latter also had a romance with a married man. At the time, she was certain that he was going to leave everything for her beautiful eyes. “You meet a married man, it happened to me. Are you convinced that he will leave his wife… I was always more or next to it, but I was never in the right place” added Mimie Mathy. “Until I meet my Benoist”.

Complementary and fusional, the lovebirds have obviously found themselves well. The duo have even launched countless businesses together. “When we sold our restaurant in 2008, Benoist became passionate about the vine,” clarified the actress and conclude with philosophy: “We only have two hectares, but they produce a quality wine that is found today at the table of many starred restaurants. Benoist works like crazy, I’m proud of his success. A nice statement all in all!
