It is arguably the most valuable Albert Einstein manuscript ever to be auctioned. The theory of general relativity of the famous German-born physicist is a 54-page manuscript written in 1914 by the collaborator and confidant of the researcher, the physicist Michele Besso. The theory of general relativity should not be confused with the formula E = mc², published in 1905.
