The banks will be closed, as will the Desjardins funds. Same scenario for Canada Post offices. The collection and delivery of mail will therefore be interrupted on Monday.
Federal government service points, such as Passport Canada, will take Monday off. This will also be the case for those of the Quebec government, such as the counters of the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec and those of Revenu Québec.
The Accès Montréal offices, where it is possible to pay for a ticket or obtain a sticker, will not open their doors on May 20. The courtrooms of the Montreal municipal court will be closed, with the exception of those where detained persons appear.
Waste collections which take place on Mondays in the metropolis will be maintained during this public holiday.
