Natives of the Loire department, Raphaël and Théo Herrerias spent a good part of their childhood in Terrenoire, a working-class district of the city of Saint-Étienne. When the two brothers decide to get into music, the name of their duo is already found.
Introduced to music by an uncle Rock and guitar fanatics, Raphaël and Théo choose this group name both to never forget their roots, and to continue to draw their inspiration from the fertile soil of their childhood.
In September 2020, the duo released their first album entitled “Les Forces Contraires”. Today, they return with a sequel subtitled “Death and Light”. A work deeply marked by the disappearance following a cancer of the father of Raphaël and Théo in 2018 in particular with the title “Behind the sun”.
7 new compositions to discovermoving stories of love and death, with a poignant emotional charge, like “It’s going to go” and “Until my last breath”, two titles that have become, unwittingly, hymns of successive confinements.
This year was intense for Terrenoire who also sings on the 23rd album ofanother Stéphanois, Bernard Lavillierson the title “I hold of her”, in homage to their city.
