The couple celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary yesterday, after a wedding to much fanfare on July 4, 1999, when the singer was still one of the Spice Girls and the former footballer is moving to Manchester United, where his career is taking off. A few months before, their first child, Brooklyn, was born in London and three more will follow for one of the most popular couples on the planet.
Twenty-three years later, love is still there for the two lovebirds who have just attended the wedding of their eldest son a few months ago. To celebrate this unique date, David and Victoria Beckham decided to go to their city of hearts, Paris. On their respective Instagram accounts, they shared several photos and videos of this beautiful moment together. “We love Paris. Every time we have something to celebrate, we come here”, writes the 47-year-old former sportsman using the colors of the French flag. For the occasion, the couple had planned a superb, very romantic dinner, with a breathtaking view of the capital and the Eiffel Tower.
Heart-shaped balloon and breathtaking view of Paris
A magical night during which the lovers were able to enjoy an exceptional meal and an exceptional wine. “A special night means a special bottle”, writes David Beckham on his photo. Very chic for the occasion, the English stars took advantage of this beautiful moment to throw a pretty red balloon in the air in the shape of a heart, as a symbol of their love. On the videos they shared on Instagram, we see the balloon floating in the air and passing in front of the Eiffel Tower for a very romantic moment. “Very special day today where we celebrate in our happy place”adds Victoria on her video (photos and videos can be found in the slideshow).
