Gluttony and solidarity: what if you bought Breton sweets until Christmas, for the association of Concarneau (29) “Eva, La Vie Devant Toi” ? It offers crowdfunding on the Kengo site called “Choc ‘la vie”.
The association was founded in 2018 when Emmanuelle Corre learned that her daughter Eva, who is now 4 and a half years old, suffers from an extremely rare pathology (less than 1 in 1 million), a brain defect called ponto-cerebellar hypoplasia (HPC). This disease affects the cerebellum and brainstem and results in significant psychomotor retardation. Eva, who has a twin brother, goes to the Rouz nursery school in Concarneau twice a week, but also to the “Center des Possibles” in Guidel (56), a unique educational unit in France dedicated to children with multiple disabilities and also follows sessions therapy and sports. But she needs special internships.
This is why the association “Eva La Vie Devant Toi” asked for the help of a craftsman-chocolatier Jérémy Thierry at Atelier N ° 5 de la Forêt Fouesnant, who will offer baskets from € 20 to € 50, depending on the contents of the boxes (chocolates, jar of rock, fruit jellies, box of hazelnut turbiné, chocolate bar from Mexico), through the Kengo site. The profits will be donated to the association to allow Eva to benefit from15-day neuro-functional rehabilitation, with technological and robotic tools, in Madrid in Spain, to help its autonomy. The little girl has already benefited from 4 courses and the results are very encouraging, with more motor skills and grip.
