The Musical Society of Ribérac chaired by Michel Lorin, 1st prize of the National Conservatory of Music of Paris receives the Orchester Passions Leitmotiv Paris, a symphony orchestra conducted by Amelie Denaês also 1st prize of the National Superior Conservatory of Music of Paris.
This orchestra is celebrating its 20 years of existence in Ribérac and for this occasion, the two orchestras have decided to play together with some twenty Parisian choristers who will join them. Interesting mix because the LEITMOTIV ORCHESTRA is symphonic, composed mainly of stringed instruments while the musical society of Ribérac, it is mainly woodwinds and brass
The program is very varied, it will be directed by Amélie Denaes, Michel Lorin and Olivier Viseux. From Ennio Morricone to Jean Jacques Goldman, Erroll Garner, as well as Michel Fugain., Michel Lorin will perform (accompanied by the whole orchestra) a piece of his composition on the vibraphone. The concert starts at 8:30 p.m. Saturday November 6, 2021 at the Espace Culturel André Malraux in Ribérac.
