In this video released on October 22, 2020, the polemicist, whose real name is Dieudonné M’bala M’bala, accuses the former prime minister of having sexually assaulted a student when he was a history teacher and claims that he was taken into custody for these facts.

“There is a file, she filed a complaint, it was heard, there was police custody, eh, eh Manu (laughs)”, declares the polemicist in this video.

He was indicted on December 13 for “public defamation of an individual” by a Nanterre investigating judge, according to a source familiar with the matter.

“We are satisfied with the indictment of Dieudonné after the particularly nauseating remarks he made against our client”, reacted to AFP the lawyers of Manuel Valls, Thibault de Montbrial and Pauline Ragot.

Contacted by AFP, Dieudonné’s lawyer, David de Stefano, declined to comment.

During a hearing on March 15 before the Versailles Criminal Court, Dieudonné, tried in another case of defamatory video, had launched: “It’s not me on the video”.

The polemicist had argued that he had been the victim of digital trickery, “the deepfake “, during this trial in which he appeared for contempt of a magistrate.

the deepfake is a sophisticated technique consisting, among other things, of superimposing one face on another.
