There was like a scent of Belgium on the evening of Friday February 10, on the stage of the Victoires de la Musique. Brussels residents Angèle and Stromae won almost half of the prizes between them. Stromae received the Victory for “best album”, in addition to being crowned “best male artist”. Angèle was crowned “female artist” and “most streamed album by an artist”.
Passing of the torch
The poignant moment of this 38th ceremony was the Victory of Honor awarded to Serge Lama, 80, who recently announced that he was ending his career. One generation leaves, another moves in.
