Guillaume Durand standing after illness, Claire Chazal on her 31… the big names in the press salute Philippe Tesson one last time

Journalist, critic and theater director, Philippe Tesson died on the evening of Wednesday February 1, 2023, at his home in Chatou, at the age of 94. This February 10, in Paris, in the church of Saint Germain des Près, his funeral took place in the presence of many journalists and politicians.

Press and politics for a last tribute to Philippe Tesson

We have for example seen his colleagues Guillaume Durand, Franz-Olivier Giesbert, Frédéric Beigbeder (close to Sylvain Tesson, the son of the deceased), Catherine Nay, Gérard Leclerc or even Claire Chazal. The first is on his feet again, a year after jaw cancer which required a major operation to remove and graft his own fibula, as well as months of rehabilitation, after a dazzling weight loss, as he had recently explained to Jordan de Luxe, when he came to C8.

For her part, Claire Chazal was very beautiful in a very warm fur coat, and perched on brown ankle boots. On the spot, the former queen of 8 p.m. TF1 met her ex-companion, actor Philippe Torreton (whose life she shared between 2003 and 2007).

In addition to the world of the media, that of politics was also very widely represented during this event. We thus met Jean-Pierre Chevenement, Roselyne Bachelot (who was also a journalist after her mandates as Minister of Health and Culture), but also Jack Lang, Alain Madelin, Jacques Toubon and Bruno Le Maire. Former columnist turned party leader Eric Zemmour arrived with his friend and former colleague on Paris Première, journalist Eric Naulleau.

Brigitte Macron among the guests

The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, who is currently involved in the burning and sensitive issue of pension reform, after receiving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Elysée Palace, was represented by his wife, Brigitte Macron, in Saint Germain des Pres.
