With eight wins and three draws, against only two defeats, Bergerac Périgord FC leads its group in National 2, the equivalent of the fourth division.

In the past, Bergerac has managed a few nice shots in the Coupe de France : The amateur club eliminated Lens, then in L2, during the 2016-2017 season. Two seasons later, the proteges of President Christian Fauvel, released Niort, another club from L2. The Messins are therefore warned!
