An attempted murder in Montreal at the exit of a McDonald’s

A fight broke out the night of Saturday to Sunday in a McDonald’s restaurant at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Ouest and Mackay streets in Montreal, around 3:45 a.m.

The assault reportedly involves at least three suspects. It was an attempted murder.

A 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries during this altercation at the exit of the bars.

The police made two arrests, including a 20-year-old man who suffered minor injuries and a 19-year-old man who was not injured.

In addition, another altercation took place at the same time between three individuals on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, at the exit of the bars.

Sunday morning, the spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM), Sabrina Gauthier, however specified that the victims of the two events were all out of danger.
