On Tuesday March 1, five people died in Kiev after a Russian attack against a television tower. North of the city, hundreds of Russian tanks and trucks were deployed.
The television tower in Kiev (Ukraine), a strategic building 385 meters high, was bombarded on the afternoon of Tuesday March 1 by Russian troops. For tens of meters, everything was blown away. The attack killed at least five people. In addition to this tower, the Russian army has warned: it will also hit the headquarters of the intelligence services. A target located in the city center, very close to Maidan Square and the Presidential Palace.
On the sixth day of the Russian offensive, the vice is tightening around Kiev. To the north of the city, hundreds of Russian tanks and trucks are deployed. “The situation is very complicated. The enemy wants to strike the heart of our country but we will fight and we will not abandon Kiev”, assures the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko. However, some Kiev residents are trying to flee, by all means. Everywhere, makeshift barricades are erected. Some were targeted by Russian troops.
