(Paris) A decorator filed a complaint on Friday for an alleged sexual assault on a set in 2021, targeting Gérard Depardieu, already indicted for accusations of sexual violence, the complainant’s lawyer told AFP on Sunday.
Me Carine Durrieu-Diebolt, who already defends actress Charlotte Arnould, alleged victim of a rape which led to the indictment of Gérard Depardieu in December 2020, confirmed having transmitted this new complaint for acts of assault to the Paris prosecutor’s office sexual abuse, sexual harassment and sexist insults.
When asked, the Paris prosecutor’s office was unable to confirm the filing of the complaint and Mr. Depardieu’s counsel did not comment.
According to M.e Durrieu-Diebolt, the facts date back to 2021 and are not prescribed. They would have performed in Paris during the filming of the film The green shuttersdirected by Jean Becker.
The woman denouncing these facts, named Amélie and aged 53, was a production designer on the set.
According to his account in the online newspaper Mediapart, which reveals this new affair, the actor of Cyrano de Bergerac would have made numerous gravelly remarks during filming in Paris, on September 10, 2021, then later would have “caught her with brutality » and would have “kneaded her waist, her stomach, going up to her breasts”.
The reported attack was reportedly interrupted by the actor’s bodyguards.
According to Mediapart, another woman, Sarah, aged 33 and third assistant director on the same shoot, accuses Mr. Depardieu of touching her twice “on the chest and buttocks” on August 31, 2021, still in Paris .
In addition to his indictment for alleged facts dating back to August 2018, Mr. Depardieu is the subject of a preliminary investigation in Paris, for sexual assaults in 2014 denounced by an assistant on a set then aged 24.
Another complaint for sexual assault filed by actress Hélène Darras for facts dating back to 2007, was filed at the end of December for statute of limitations.
Furthermore, in Spain, a journalist and writer, Ruth Baza, filed a complaint in mid-December with the Spanish police for a rape which allegedly took place in October 1995 in Paris.
