Albert of Monaco wants to be reassuring, but how long will his wife really be back?

Princess Charlene’s health has been making headlines for months. She, who spent most of 2021 in South Africa, due to a serious ENT infection which prevented her from flying, was treated for many months, away from her family.

“Charlene is much better”

Last November, after 2 operations under general anesthesia, the former swimmer was allowed to return home … to stay there only for a very short time. Indeed, aware that she needed help, Charlene agreed to join a specialized institution to treat her mental and physical fatigue.

And if the princess has already missed a number of major events – her 10 years of marriage to Albert, the start of the school year and her children’s birthdays, but also Christmas and New Year’s Day, and more recently Sainte Dévote – the nightmare is almost over for her.

This is announced by her husband, in an interview with Monaco Morning. About his ex-wife swimmer, Jacques and Gabriella’s dad assures: “Princess Charlene is much better“. And to add about their family: “I hope she will be back very soon in the Principality“.

Patience

For now, one question remains: when will she return to the Rock? At the last press release published by the Prince’s Palace, dating from Christmas Eve, the recovery of Charlene of Monaco was “encouraging” and she had “still (for) a few months”
