HIV prevention campaigns are almost non-existent in the Central African Republic, the second least developed country in the world according to the UN and in civil war for more than eight years. The stigmatization of AIDS patients means that many of them are treated very late. The community hospital in Bangui represents a haven of peace and ultimate support for those infected.
