An elderly man in his 30s lost his life after being found unconscious in one of four apartments in a residential building in Longueuil that burned down early Monday night.
The tenants of the other apartments were not injured, but they were thrown out into the street.
The building is located on Saint-Louis Street, near the intersection of Victoria Avenue, in the LeMoyne sector. At the end of the night, the cause of the fire had not yet been specified.
A security perimeter has been established to allow investigators to determine the circumstances of the fire.
