The native of Angers gave a short speech just before going on air. But part of his farewell was truncated quite abruptly. “A few quick words to finish, I would first like to thank Camille Girerd, who has chosen to devote herself to the production of documentaries, always with us in the environment of ‘C Politique’ and ‘C ce soir’ the season next. She won’t be around this table anymore“, he began before warmly thanking a collaborator: “Camille, you were a columnist, editor-in-chief, joker… You replaced me, when I needed it, in a brilliant way. So, thank you on my behalf and on behalf of the whole team“.
