Residents of a nursing home from Beblenheim, in the Haut-Rhin, made an original outing by participating in a plane flight on Sunday June 26. A great moment for these residents aged 87 to 96.

At 93, Alfred most often expresses himself by playing his favorite instrument, the harmonica, or by singing. It was therefore with his instrument at the edge of his lips that he arrived on the tarmac ofEntzheim (Bas-Rhin)Sunday, June 26. Caregivers voluntarily accompanied three residents of thenursing home “The Little Castle” of Beblenheim (Haut-Rhin) so that they can enjoy a flight aboard a light aircraft.

At the bend of a cloud, the mount Sainte Odile makes its appearance, then it is the turn of the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg. A day that owes nothing to chance. The director ofnursing home is a pilot himself. Francoise Welschingerresident ofnursing home who participated in the theft, explains that “it has changed a lot, because[elle] made a first flight 50 years ago”. Back home, there is no doubt that the three lucky ones who flew will convince other residents to have their heads in the Alsatian clouds in turn.
