In Clamart (Hauts-de-Seine), Philippe Colbert found a new vocation three years ago: to play Father Christmas.
“It’s in front of my grandchildren, I was at school with them, I saw Santa Claus and I liked it”, he says. However, nothing predestined Philippe Colbert, a retired sewer, to wear this costume. Motorized sled, gifts… Everything is ready when he arrives, and the children only have eyes for him. “A robot”, “a barbie”, “legos”… There are many requests among those who have come to meet him. “We must speak to them gently, to the children, we must not rush them”, confides Santa Claus.
