Incidents of violence against caregivers on the rise
An act which created indignation in the medical world, which highlights the hyper violence in our society. “We have the impression that now, the person who is not happy, they will throw punches, they will pull out a knife. And so, we have lost a kind of supervision, of knowing how to live together, tolerance, politeness, kindness”judge Patrick Pelloux, president of the association of emergency doctors in France, describing the situation as“absolutely terrible”. Acts of violence against caregivers have been on the rise in recent years, with more than 20,000 reports per year.
