Major League Soccer (MLS) and its referees announced that they had ratified a seven-year labor contract on Tuesday, ending a 37-day lockout that resulted in the use of replacement referees.
The Professional Referee Organization (PRO) and the Professional Soccer Referees Association (PSRA) reached an agreement last week which expires on January 31, 2031.
The PSRA has approximately 260 members.
The replacement referees worked during the first five weeks of activities of the MLS season, provoking their share of criticism.
