Where are the most expensive properties in the country?

It is this chic question that the real estate platform Point2 looked into. Conclusion: it is the town of Delta, a suburb of Vancouver, which has the greatest concentration – 80% – of properties for sale above one million.

Located south of Vancouver, the city has dethroned the British Columbia metropolis, which still remains in second place, with a proportion of 70.5% of properties for sale at more than $1 million; the city still dominates the ultra-luxury sector with 13% of properties priced at 4 million or more.

In all, 15 major cities in British Columbia and Ontario have 50% of homes at 1 million or more, including Oakville and Richmond.

Outside of these two provinces, it is in Montreal (22%) and Calgary (18%) that we find the highest proportions of residences listed at 1 million or more.
