The young tenor Amaury Vassili released a new album to celebrate Christmas.
“The Christmas holidays are quite important to me. As a child, Christmas was always more important than my birthdays. It really is the ultimate family celebration for me. With the virus, people were isolated, separated. It was complicated for everyone. I wanted to revisit those Christmas songs that everyone knows“, says the singer.
Amaury takes us to different musical universes, blues, pop, reggae, classic. “I wanted diversity, other sounds and tones. Let an impression of change be there while listening to the record. That it can reach all audiences“.
Amaury has fun with traditions to better restore the Christmas fairyland. Pop, intimate or universal, his songs summon precious souvenirs as they announce better days. In terms of sharing, there is no exception: duets with the mythical Roberto Alagna on “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and Jean-Baptiste Guégan on “Silent Night”, enrich this disc which is both innovative and timeless, bewitching and unifying.
The album is available since November 19, 2021.
