In the circumstances, to hear some people proclaim — without the slightest nuance, without the slightest reservation — their absolute, unwavering, unconditional support for Israel, how can we not retch?
What are we waiting for ? Demonstrating for the Palestinians is the minimum. And it’s good to dare to say “Not in our name!” »… but more is needed! Because the survivors, forever traumatized, will keep their rage, anger, resentment, the injustice they experienced… hatred, firstly against the belligerents, but against the world which allowed it to happen. In this case, these feelings germinate in the heart of every human being.
Can we now hope for the advent of a Palestinian state after so many disappointments, and while the current Israeli government is openly flouting international law?
