Increase the number of charging stations to accelerate the transition to electric cars. The government announced, Friday October 27, an envelope of 200 million euros. The objective: to develop more fast charging stations, only 10% are installed today in the region. According to an electric mobility association, this is good news.
400,000 public terminals by 2030
110 electrical terminals are installed, four times more since 2019. France is the second best equipped European country, behind the Netherlands and ahead of Germany. The objective is to reach 400,000 public terminals by 2030. The new envelope of 200 million euros will also make it possible to finance more electrical terminals at home, particularly in condominiums. Today, 19% of cars sold in France are electric. There could be 13 million in circulation in 2030.
