The name change isn’t really a surprise. Indeed, for several weeks, it was rumored that the series was going to change its name, as we revealed to you on October 20 when the actors resumed filming from Allauch, where the series will now be filmed. The agent of Laurent Kérusoré, Joakim Latzko, and Elisabeth Commelin, Sophie Lemaître, has in fact released on her site and social networks that Plus belle la vie would no longer be called Plus belle la vie, but Mi3stral.

A new name but also new settings for “Plus belle la vie”

In the end, the name revealed was not retained, but it certainly suggested that TF1 and the soap opera teams wanted a makeover. And this is not the only element to be modified. Indeed, on X, formerly Twitter, journalist Manon Mugica revealed a photo of the future setting of the series.

“Plus belle la vie, new version: filming begins at the end of October! While waiting for broadcast on TF1 in 2024, a little preview of the Mistral bar,” she wrote in the caption of a photo showing a brand new bar. While the program had been filmed in the Belle-de-Mai studios for years, it is now in Allauch, outdoors, that the episodes will be filmed. Fans are now looking forward to discovering the first episodes in which a tribute to Michel Cordes and Marwan Berreni, who sadly passed away recently, will undoubtedly be paid.
