Every noon, Jean-Luc Reichmann is at the controls of his emblematic program, “Les 12 Coups de midi”. To date, the greatest champion in the history of the game is Bruno Hourcade who had managed to accumulate 252 consecutive entries and won €1,026,107 before being eliminated on October 5, 2021.
This week, the great champion will also be back on TF1 to participate in the famous meeting of champions, “Le Combat des Maîtres”. On this occasion, the 33-year-old young man confided in the Parisian to reveal what his daily life is made up of, two years after his participation in the “12 Coups de Midi”.
Bruno Hourcade first reveals having declined an offer to participate in a reality TV program: “I was approached to participate in the second season of Les Cinquante on W9. I preferred to decline because I would be a very bad participant for them… I’m not chasing after television”.
Bruno Hourcade still unemployed and “forced” to sell his cars
The former champion who was sorry for “not having a guy” then admits that his life has not changed much since his appearance on TF1. “I am still single and unemployed” he quipped in the columns of Parisian. Then he takes stock of the management of his many gifts, starting with his nine video game consoles won: “I kept one of each: a PlayStation 5, an Xbox and a Nintendo Switch and then gave the rest away”.
“For the cars, I had to sell them gradually, because it was blocking my parents’ garden”. Bruno also explains that his mother and stepfather are responsible for publishing the classifieds to resell the gifts. “There are things that go very quickly like Dyson vacuum cleaners and hair dryers or televisions and telephones”.
Bruno Hourcade, who had lost his job in April 2022, chose not to seek compensation from Pôle Emploi and said he was lucky to have won a million euros. The young man was also able to invest in stone thanks to this. “I bought a first apartment in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) where my grandmother comes from and I decided to continue investing in real estate” he concluded.
