Caroline Le Flour’s “Resilience” movement was born 8 years ago when she fell seriously ill. His texts written in the hospital gave a humorous show entitled “la Chauve Sourit”. The young woman passes on her experience by organizing workshops within healthcare structures.

Her life as a dynamic young executive changed when she realized that her professional practices were not the right ones. A burnout at 28, followed by cancer at 32, a PMA journey before declared infertility at 36, as well as multiple heart operations have transformed Caroline Le Flour’s life, her outlook on herself and on others. Today she travels through France thanks to word-of-mouth to get medical teams on board and instil best practices. Its objective, to make resilience a daily way of life, to strengthen the link between health professionals and patients, by encouraging them to take care of themselves in order to better care for the sick.

Resilience is life

In her hospital bed, she began to write her own story with self-mockery. Laughter was his solution not to sink. Humor and creativity, his levers of resilience, allowed him to get through these trials and gain height. A show, The Bat Smiles was born, then books, comics, as well as workshops. In Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, nurses, caregivers, medical secretaries, reception agents have started to take a step back and protect themselves. She invites her trainees to look at their daily life differently, to activate their “inner trampoline” to learn how to bounce back according to the situations. Objective: better cope with professional hazards and set limits to an investment that is sometimes too emotional. Every word resonates regardless of the profession. Some trainees have the double hat: caregiver and patient. Caroline Le Flour has toured France several times for her shows, her life force takes the teams on board, whatever their function. The training courses are aimed at all audiences
