” The Hills is a piece that speaks of the vagaries of our human condition, explains Alexandra Stréliski in a press release. It speaks of our desire to evolve, to emancipate ourselves and to feel at peace with the world, with all that it has that is contradictory. I composed it in one go following the death of someone I loved. As if I was trying to reconcile the magnitude of that loss with the beauty of the life that had been there. »
