On Wednesday, September 28, senators published a report calling for better control of pornographic sites, so that minors cannot access them.
In a few clicks, and after checking a box attesting to its majority, it is possible to access pornography. “You can go there at any age, for my part, I know that I went there when I was not of age”, assures a student. In France, a study revealed that one child out of two in primary school and 100% of college students have already seen pornographic images.
Some videos sometimes depict rape, acts of torture and barbarity, denounce four senators in a report published Wednesday, September 28. “We have to reverse the software, we have to demonstrate that pornography, the pornography industry, is not the reality of sexual intercourse”, says Annick Billon, senator (UDI) of Vendée. Two French platforms are being prosecuted for complicity in rape and human trafficking. The report advocates blocking porn sites that do not practice age screening.
