French singer Daniel Lévi died on Saturday at the age of 60, announced the Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul Malak, on Twitter. He had been suffering from colon cancer since 2019.

The Minister of Culture salutes “a voice, singular, powerful” and “fights too: climate, caregivers, fight against racism, support for Lebanon“.

Daniel Lévi is best known for his role as Moïse in the musical “The ten Commandments“, where he interprets the title “The desire to love“. He is also the male voice of the duo “This blue dream“, credits of the cartoon Aladdin from Disney studios.
